The Journey Zoomer is designed for people who want the convenience and maneuverability of a lightweight power chair without feeling like they're riding in something fragile. Its sturdy frame, comfortable seat, simple one-handed joystick and compact turning ability make it an easy companion for everyday life—whether you're moving around the house, heading out to lunch, shopping, or enjoying a day away from home.
The Zoomer is particularly appealing for travel. It folds quickly and compactly, fits into most car trunks, and its new split-frame design allows it to come apart for easier lifting and transport. The heaviest separated piece is only 19 lbs. It is also FAA compliant for air travel, so it can go along when your plans take you farther from home.
Once you're there, the Zoomer is built for more than perfectly smooth floors. Its rugged frame and flat-free tires are designed to handle pavement, grass and gravel, while the patented floating footrest swings out of the way to make getting in and out easier. A padded seat, anti-tip wheels and electromagnetic braking add comfort and confidence along the way.
With a 300-lb. weight capacity, 9+ miles of range and speeds up to 3.7 mph, the Zoomer gives you a practical combination of portability, durability and everyday independence.
Designed to go where you go. The Zoomer's split-frame design lets you separate the chair into lighter pieces for easier lifting, loading and transportation.
Less lifting. Less hassle. More freedom to take your Zoomer with you.
Is the Zoomer a medical device or wheelchair?
No. The Journey Zoomer is classified as a personal electric vehicle, not a medical device or wheelchair. It is not intended for medical purposes or to provide mobility for someone who is restricted to a sitting position.
Is the Zoomer FSA or HSA eligible?
The Zoomer may be eligible for FSA/HSA reimbursement, depending on your individual plan. We recommend confirming eligibility with your FSA/HSA administrator or benefits provider before purchasing. Curated Golden Years can provide a receipt for your records.
